Hello All,
This is my first blog and as the rest of the world would say "I'm new to this so just bare with me!!" One of my BFF's has a super-duper cute blog and I've decided it was time to jump on the band wagon. I have named my blog Haley's House because my life could be seen by most as a Prime Time comedy special. My kids are always doing something funny and when they aren't, I am. I hope that by starting this blog that I can capture some of those shining moments in my life on another form besides Facebook... and if one of my stories can bring a smile to at least one person's face, it will make me a happier person.
To start off, I want to share a little about myself. I'm living the life of a 30 year old mother with the mind of a 17 year old.. In my world, I'm not getting any older, but everyone else is catching up with me. I work a full time job at a Highly publicized insurance company (discount double check, anyone?!?!?!), work part time as a cashier at the locale grocery store (because apparently I have nothing else to do on Saturday mornings at 5 AM) and I'm a full time mother and wife. I'm a very random person!! I enjoy short walks from the couch to the fridge, I do dance around in my living room with my kids even when people are watching and I wear my heart on my sleeve for everyone to see. I'm a very animated person (some would say dramatic, but I think that is a harsh word to be reserved for my daughter). Some people have said I come on too strong at first, but most times I can win them over with my charm. I'm not good a math, I cry at the drop of a hat! I talk to loud and I laugh even louder. I love to keep my family and friends close and my enemies closer. You never know when you are gonna have to start an awful rumor about yourself, and who better to get the news going than someone that pretends to like you but secretly hates your guts because you are so much more awesome than they are! I cheat at Canasta and Croquet, however, I do not cheat at Old Maid.. Knowing there is a Kool-aid stain on the back of the old maid card is like insider trading info, but not cheating!!!
